WATCH | Sonam Kapoor teach Akshay Kumar spell out his new screen name ‘PadMan’ – Akshay Kumar can’t keep calm! His wife Twinkle Khanna’s maiden production ‘PadMan’ is up for Republic Day 2018 release. While fans are yet to see the teaser or trailer for the film, Akki keeps his fans’ excitement levels high by sharing new posters from the film every now and then.
On Thursday morning, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to share an audio clip from the film which appears to be a scene from PadMan. While the leading ladies, Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor are yet to appear on the official posters of the film this audio file has Sonam and Akshay’s interaction. Sonam Kapoor’s character can be heard teaching Khiladi Kumar how to spell out his new name ‘PadMan’ . He wrote, ” P-A-D + M-A-N = PADMAN. It’s that simple.”

The film is a biopic and based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man who invented low-cost sanitary pads and fought for women’s basic right for menstrual hygiene. His great contribution for the society was also penned by Mrs Funnybones in her last book.
Recently, Arunachalam Muruganantham, tweeted praises for Akshay and expressed his excitement to see the superstar play his part in Padman.

PadMan is all set to release on Republic Day 2018 and will clash with Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaary’ and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam 2’
