The fight continues: Arnie asks Trump to get a fact checker after US President says he was fired from Celebrity Apprentice – Schwarzenegger asks Trump to find a joke writer and fact checker after US President says actor was fired from Celebrity Apprentice for its poor ratings
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has recently taken potshots at US President Donald Trump, came up with another after Trump released a tweet saying the actor was fired from Celibrity Apprentice.
“You should think about hiring a new joke writer and a fact checker,” Schwarzenegger tweeted, after Trump’s tweet.

Schwarzenegger quit as host of NBC’s reality show “The Celebrity Apprentice,” blaming U.S. President Donald Trump’s ongoing role as executive producer for low ratings.
“I loved every second of working with NBC and Mark Burnett. Everyone – from the celebrities to the crew to the marketing department – was a straight 10, and I would absolutely work with all of them again on a show that doesn’t have this baggage,” Schwarzenegger said in a statement.
The actor’s representative said Schwarzenegger would not be returning for a second season.
NBC, a unit of Comcast Corp, did not comment on Schwarzenegger’s decision not to return for another season, or the show’s future on Friday.’
However, President Trump, who is one not to shy away from a fight, took to Twitter to say the actor was fired from the show
Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't voluntarily leaving the Apprentice, he was fired by his bad (pathetic) ratings, not by me. Sad end to great show

Schwarzenegger, a Republican who served two terms as California governor but said he did not vote for Trump as president, told UK film magazine Empire in an interview published on Friday that he was leaving the show due to Trump’s involvement.
“I learned a lot, I had a great time, it was a really great opportunity,” Schwarzenegger said. “But under the circumstances I don’t want to do it again.”
“When people found out that Trump was still involved as executive producer and was still receiving money from the show, then half the people (started) boycotting it,” Schwarzenegger told the publication.
Trump had became a household name as the host of “The Apprentice” and “The Celebrity Apprentice” for 14 seasons. Contestants on the reality show vie to show their business skills.
Trump, who took office in January after winning November’s presidential election, has mocked Schwarzenegger and the 43 percent fall in the 18-to-49-year-old audience for the show’s January premiere.
His comments sparked a Twitter fight between America’s two biggest celebrities-turned-politicians.
Some 20 million Americans were regular watchers of “The Apprentice” in the show’s first year, falling to around 6 million in 2015 for the last episode of “The Celebrity Apprentice” hosted by Trump.
Earlier, the US President mocked the action hero tweeting, “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1. But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary.”
Schwarzenegger, with all his class, opted to take the high road instead, firing back on Twitter, “There’s nothing more important than the people’s work, @realDonaldTrump. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”
During the National Prayer Breakfast, an annual faith gathering of religious leaders and members of the Congress, President Trump took a swipe at the Hollywood star, saying, “They hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place. And we know how that turned out. The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster.” “And Mark (Burnett, the creator of Apprentice) will never, ever bet against Trump again,” the 70-year-old President said.
Schwarzenegger has told Donald Trump that they should swap jobs so that “people can finally sleep comfortably again” after the US President took a swipe at the falling TV ratings of a reality show hosted by the Hollywood action legend.
