Taapsee Pannu-Kriti Sanon to play 60 year olds in Anurag Kashyap’s film? – Taapsee Pannu seems to be Anurag Kashyap’s favourite actress in b-town these days. As the actress is not only doing an intense love story called Manmarziyaan with Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, but latest reports suggest that she will be seen in yet another power packed role in Anurag’s next titled ‘Womaniya’
Interestingly, it’s a two heroine film and Mumbai Mirror report suggests that Kriti Sanon has been approached for the second lead in the film. The film is about two shooters and 60 year old women whose story will be narrated in flashback in the film. Sources quoted in Mumbai daily suggest that Kriti has heard the script and liked it and said, “They will be required to train before the film rolls towards the middle of this year.”
Co-produced by Madhu Mantena, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl, Womaniya will be launch pad for a new director in Bollywood.
Meanwhile, ‘Manmarziyan’ shoot is going on in full swing in Amritsar. Taapsee will also be seen in ‘Dil Juunglee’, releasing on March 9th, she also has ‘Mulk’ with Rishi Kapoor and yet another sports drama, ‘Soorma’ with Diljit Dosanjh in the pipeline as well.
Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon is also doing a film Diljit Dosanjh as the two are pairing up for the first time ever in Dinesh Vijan’s Arjun Patiala.
Last year DNA After Hrs also reported that Kriti Sanon has replaced Taapsee Pannu in John Abraham’s film which is going to be an adaptation of Spanish film ‘The Invisible Guest’. The producers had a disagreement over the lead heroine until Kriti Sanon stepped in.
