Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is on a break from international cricket, is all set to play in Vijay Hazare Trophy for Jharkhand. The Ranchi-born cricketer, who has been pretty active on social media lately, took the fans by surprise when he posted a photograph on social media, where he can be seen travelling in a train with his Jharkhand teammates.
Dhoni, who was recently named the skipper of Jharkhand, was travelling to Kolkata for the team’s opening match against Karnataka on February 25 at the Eden Gardens stadium.
Here’s Dhoni’s post:
Jharkhand will lock horns with Chattisgarh in their second match at the same ground a day later on February 26. The team will stay in West Bengal as their third match is in Kalyani.
While Dhoni will be playing in Vijay Hazare Trophy, Virat Kohli-led India will be up against Australia in a four-match series beginning from February 23.
