The actress, who joined the cast of the film after losing weight for the role, has started filming for the movie along with Varun Dhawan and Aparshakti Khurrana. The film’s posters were also released on Sara’s birthday, which is on August 12. The first poster shows Varun Dhawan as Raju the coolie. His father David Dhawan, who is directing his 45th film in the form of this redux, has kept the same name of the character.
The second poster has Sara and Varun together in a tight embrace, with a tagline that says An entertainer by David Dhawan.
Sara even posted a video of her wearing a Coolie No. 1 jacket as she readies to shoot for the film.
“It gives a very ’90s feel when you see the poster. Yes, the difference is that you can see Louis Vuitton bags among other branded stuff, but the film has a very youthful feel to it. It has the typical Varun Dhawan kind of content — romance, comedy and action,” says a trade source.
Meanwhile, the Twitterati had some fun at Sara’s expense, saying that her recent viral act of holding her own luggage was just a teaser for the film’s poster.
