It’s been almost a month since popular Indian TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee was found hanging in her flat. From Pratyusha’s boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh having an affair with another woman to JJ Hospital confirming that the 24-year old actress was pregnant and had probably undergone an abortion not long before her alleged suicide on April 1, her suicide case has become a mystery to everyone.
Rahul Raj Singh, who was dating Pratyusha, has been charged with abetment to suicide following her death. Pratyusha’s family and friends claimed that she could not commit suicide and blamed Rahul for her death.
According to the latest information, the final medical report states that Pratyusha hung herself to death and committed suicide. 135mg of alcohol traces are reportedly found in her blood, which means that she consumed more than average limit of alcohol on April 1.
This much amount of alcohol consumption in the body leads to lose control and so, Pratyusha hung herself to death.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, the medical reports fail to tell the reason for such extreme step. It is tough to believe Pratyusha taking a big step like this under the influence of alcohol.
After the 24-year-old ‘Balika Vadhu‘ actress allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her flat in suburban Goregaon on April 1, a case under Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 504, 506 (criminal intimidation), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC was registered against Rahul on April 3 following a complaint lodged by the actress’ parents.
