Cheteshwar Pujara again proved to be a tough nut to crack for the Aussies bringing up his 11th Test ton and guiding the hosts to a big first innings total in Ranchi on Saturday.

But that’s not all. The Saurashtra batsman in reaching the three figure mark, became the first batsman to score as many as four hundreds in four debuting Test venues. Before Ranchi, Pujara had scored tons at Indore, Rajkot and Vizag – all of these venues welcomed Test cricket for the first time.

India were 303 for 4 and Pujara remained unbeaten on 109 at tea.
