‘His accuracy is breathtaking’: Watch MS Dhoni wow Kolkata Police with his shooting skills – He is the Chosen One!

There are times – particularly when MS Dhoni is keeping wickets – it looks like he is detached from reality and inside The Matrix, his eyes seeing not physical movements but some unreadable code. DRS or the Dhoni Review System, an affectionate term to describe his keen sense of judgement, is a testament to his exceptional eye-work and more often than not, Mahi can spot a nick even when the umpire thinks it’s a wide or a miss.
His reflexes, particularly when he’s stumping out batsmen, is also off the charts, suggesting that he is a man with exemplary hand-eye coordination.
And his skills were on display at the Kolkata Police Training School, when he swapped his bat for a gun and wowed the Kolkata Police with his accuracy.
Unable to practice because of the rain, Dhoni headed to the training school for a session. The Kolkata Police posted on their Facebook page: “The great MS Dhoni takes some time off to practice his shooting skills at our state of the art shooting range this afternoon at Police Training School. His accuracy is breathtaking.”
A top Kolkata police official said Dhoni not only shot in the range but inspired the Kolkata Police recruits with a pep-talk during his visit in the afternoon.
“It’s great to host Dhoni for the second time. He’s an extraordinary marksman and inspired us all,” the top Kolkata Police official who accompanied Dhoni told PTI. “It’s a state of art shooting range at PTS and Dhoni shot both in the 10m and 25 ranges.”

Earlier in 2010, Dhoni, whose love for motorcycle is well-documented, had visited the city police headquarters Lalbazar looking for an old motorcycle. India will take on Australia in the second ODI of the five-match series at the Edens Gardens tomorrow. India had defeated Australia by 26 runs in a rain-curtailed first ODI to take a 1-0 lead.
