Music composer-turned Star actor Himesh Reshammiya is on cloud nine. He is thrilled with the response his film, Teraa Surroor, has received at the box office.
“The film had a good weekend collection. We have already made 6.46 crore,” says Himesh.
The makers are ecstatic with the profits the film has been making even before its first weekend.
“I’m happy because word of mouth has resulted in profitable collections for us. The module of Teraa Surroor in terms of the cost of production was 6.5 crore. Of which, we’ve already covered 4.5 crore with sales of music rights, satellite rights, overseas rights, DVD rights, Internet rights and other rights. Everything from Indian theatrical rights is a profit, and I’m happy that the weekend figures, too, are superb for the film,” Himesh adds.
Director Shawn Arranha, too, couldn’t be happier. “I am super happy for the super hit machine, Himesh, who has delivered another hit after The Xpose (2014), and our film has been appreciated by the audience,” he says.
