The Dirty Picture was a life changing film in her career, and she remembers how her father backed her in this bold choice. She arranged a preview of the film even before it released to get for her parents even before the film released. Vidya and her father proudly shared the moment, how he clapped after watching the film and didn’t find anything awkward about it. Vidya said, ” That vote of confidence was priceless.”
PR Balan makes a valid point by saying ” Young girls should accept themselves equal to boys and not accept discrimination as part of life.” No wonder the actress wishes every girl has a father like her Appa.
