Heard of French kissing? Now, thanks to Ranveer Singh, here’s desi kissing and the actor seems to be doing it ALL the time. Ever since Befikre posters started landing, we have been seeing Vaani Kapoor and Ranveer Singh kissing. The only thing that changes is their location.
Ranveer on Tuesday posted a new poster of Befikre and wrote, “French waters, desi kisses! @VaaniOfficial #BefikreOn9th @BefikreTheFilm.”
Vaani replied to his tweet, “@RanveerOfficial Mon Cher, looks like we’re making waves across the globe! #BefikreOn9th @BefikreTheFilm.”
There’s one thing that’s common in all the posters that have been released of Ranveer Singh’s next Befikre: he can’t stop kissing his co-star Vaani Kapoor. After four posters from the film have been released, Ranveer tweeted out a fifth one today.
This time, they’re on a beach. The film was shot entirely in France and will release on 9 December, which is incidentally also director Aditya Chopra’s baby girl Adira’s first birthday.
Befikre is supposed to be a rom-com, in the Before Sunrise/Before Sunset style and Ranveer Singh had mentioned to IANS that “I’m happy that I’m collaborating with Adi sir on his freshest story and endeavour. Whatever you expect normally out of an Aditya Chopra film, this is unlike anything that he’s made before.”
However, we’re really curious to know what the deal is with all the kisses. Not that we have a problem (why would anyone?) but there is probably a story behind it. We’ll only know once the trailer releases. Until then, may Ranveer ever entertain us with all his ‘kisscapades’.
