‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ song ‘Humsafar’: Varun Dhawan is hopelessly in love with Alia Bhatt in this ENCHANTING love song! – ‘Humsafar’ song from ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania is out and we are hooked to it already!
The makers of Badrinath Ki Dulhania have unveiled the love song of the film titled Humsafar and it has got us hooked to it. The song beautifully captures how a hopelessly in love Badri (Varun Dhawan) tries his level best to woo his ‘Dulhania’ Vaidehi (Alia Bhatt), even if it is by being no more than just a friend to her.
The song begins with Vaidehi telling Badri that he shouldn’t have any other hopes (from their friendship). Now, as we have seen in the BKD trailer before, Vaidehi was pretty upset with Badri for sending his marriage proposal to her family. The beginning of this song hints that Vaidehi probably wants to give Badri a chance as a friend, whereas a helplessly in love Badri quips saying, “Ummeed pe toh aashiqui qaayam hai.”
The song goes on to portray how Badri, in his own little ways tries to win over the heart of Vaidehi. He hopes that she too sips on the drink from the same glass along with him. He loves spending time with her and loses the track of everything else while simply looking at her talking to him. From trying out adventure activities to holding her shopping bags when Vaidehi’s hands start paining, Badri does all that he can to woo her and in turn ends up sprinkling his charm on the viewers. But does he manage to win his lady love? We think and sincerely hope he does.
Humsafar is a soft romantic number that beautifully essays what it’s like to be a one-sided lover. Crooned enchantingly by Akhil Sachdeva and Mansheel Gujral, the song has some amazing moments. Kudos to Akhil, for having penned, composed and voiced such a soothing, soft-romantic number.
